Bio

Born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Toronto, Wendy Lu is a versatile Hard of Hearing artist/designer currently developing creative concepts, innovative ideas and productive works. She has excellent artistic skills, meticulous techniques and unique styles in various mediums including: paintings, drawings, mixed media, watercolour, gouache, collage, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, and multimedia. Her artworks have been exhibited at numerous public venues including: 17th Annual BEING SCENE Juried Art Exhibition at the Gladstone Hotel Gallery, Canada 150 Art & Heritage Exhibition at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCCGT), the Koffler Gallery's The Bookmark Project, Mercer Union, among others in Ontario. Wendy graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art (BFA Specialized Honours - Visual Arts) in 2005. She has an Advanced Bionics cochlear implant in her right ear due to her severe-to-profound hearing loss. Please check AdvancedBionics.com
